Once rings were usually worn on the third finger, because it was thought to contain a nerve that went directly to the heart. To charge your ring with your personal power, hold the ring in your projective hand, right for "righties", left for "lefties", visualize your magical intention, and "pour" the energy out from your body into the ring.
